Wall-Mounted Electric Heaters: Stay Warm, Save Space
Patios and other outdoor spaces are meant to be enjoyed to the fullest. Whether you take your morning coffee outdoors, enjoy weekend brunches outside or spend evenings enjoying time with friends and family on your patio, being outdoors raises anyone’s mood and makes even everyday gatherings seem a little more special. Sometimes cold weather may keep you from enjoying the simple luxury of having a large porch or patio, but in reality, you shouldn’t have to compromise when it gets too cold to be outside. Outdoor heating is a smart choice if you want to get more use out of your patio and make events happen that would not have been possible without an outdoor source of heat. When choosing the right outdoor heating, consider how much space is available to you. While those with ample amounts of ground space may want to choose a floor-standing heater, hanging or wall mounted patio heaters are a better choice if you want to use the floor for other things.
Heat Your Patio Any Way You Want
Our wide selection of non-floor-standing heaters features halogen and infrared lights and brands like Sunpak and Infratech. Halogen and infrared electric heat sources are beneficial to you and the environment because they release no dangerous and potentially harmful gasses or emissions. These options also provide thousands of hours of heat and warm up very quickly. Long power cords make our products easy to set-up and plug in.
If you have a small patio, wall or hanging heaters are probably the best choice for you. Using these products, you can avoid taking up floor space with large, standing heaters. Also, halogen heater options are fantastic at heating small areas while only using a fraction of the energy costs of other heating and lighting mechanisms. Another benefit of these types of heaters is that you do not have to worry about them being knocked over. While most standing heaters have safety mechanisms that account for this possibility, it is still good to avoid the heater falling on something or someone.
Outdoor heaters come in a variety of strengths and can successfully heat large and small spaces. Some of our options are better for small patios while others can heat areas as large as almost 50 square feet. If needed, you can purchase more than one hanging or wall-mounted heater to heat even larger areas. Many of the heaters we offer are also suitable for indoor use, which expands their usability.
Save Floor Space, Maximize Patio Use with Wall Mounted Heaters
Hanging and wall mounted patio heaters are the smart, safe, space-saving way to heat outdoor areas. Making the most of your wall and ceiling space, you can use the floor for more seating and other furniture. General Summary of Proposition 65
The “California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986” (more commonly referred to as ‘Proposition 65’)
was enacted to ensure that customers be properly warned when a product contains a substance known to cause cancer or
reproductive harm. The law requires the State of California to publish and maintain (annually) a list of substances
to be available to the general public. Additionally, the law requires that businesses properly notify residents of
the State of California about the presence of these substances in the products they purchase, or that may be present
in their homes, workplaces, or that otherwise may be released into the environment. The specific list contains a wide
range of naturally occurring and synthetic substances including manufacturing and construction chemicals, pesticides,
tobacco, food-additives, solvents, household products, drugs and byproducts created from a specific product usage.
You may have noticed the below warning label on our products, or on products from other manufacturers. The warning
has become increasingly commonplace and oftentimes raises questions about why the warning exists, and what it means
to a customer. The warning itself is just one of many requirements for businesses operating in and/or selling products
to customers in the the State of California. The warning does not mean that a product that includes the warning will
cause cancer or reproductive harm, but rather it simply is provided in order to educate the consumer that a substance
may exist. A large number of the substances listed under Proposition 65 have been in regular use for many years
without any documented harm to a consumer. This is due to the low concentrations and minimal exposure that actually
occurs with these substances. Those chemicals, however, have been determined by the State of California to be listed
as potentially harmful.
I don’t live in California. Why did my product include this warning?
In order to ensure compliance with Proposition 65 requirements we have determined that all products manufactured by
Living Direct Inc, including products sold under the EdgeStar, Avallon and Koldfront brands, should include the
above-referenced warning label. This labeling requirements exists for all of our products regardless of the
location / destination to which the product is ultimately sold and/or shipped.
We believe that our products, when used as designed, are not harmful and as such this warning is provided
in order to properly conform to the requirements of Proposition 65.
